Introduction

Oceans

Oceans are the largest aquatic ecosystems, home to a vast range of marine life, including fish, corals, whales, and plankton. They regulate global climate and provide essential resources for humans.


Coral Reefs

Often called the "rainforests of the sea," coral reefs are biodiversity hotspots supporting thousands of marine species. They provide shelter for marine organisms and protect coastal areas from erosion.


Estuaries and Mangroves

Biotic Components (Living organisms)

Producers: Algae, phytoplankton, and aquatic plants that produce oxygen and form the base of the food chain.
